Planning a Cathedral Ledge Elopement? This October adventure at Echo Lake was nothing short of magical. From golden leaves to warm fall weather, Sara & Harold’s day was full of unforgettable moments.
Sara and Harolds Cathedral Ledge Elopement had a warm breeze carrying in the crisp promise of fall. Sara & Harolds adventure elopement began at the serene Echo Lake, where the golden leaves mirrored their excitement. From the quiet lakefront to the wild, open fields, this day was nothing short of magical.

Sara & Harold share a love for the outdoors, adventure, and moments that feel completely their own. Choosing the White Mountains for their elopement was a no-brainer. They wanted privacy, epic views, and a day that reflected who they are. Every step of this journey, from Echo Lake to Cathedral Ledge, was about savoring each moment together without distraction.

Echo Lake:
We kicked things off at Echo Lake, and honestly, 80 degrees in October felt like a little trick from Mother Nature. I mean, when you think of October in New Hampshire youre probably thinking leaves changing, crisp air and definitely not jumping in a lake to swim. Sara & Harold were soaking it all in, laughing at how warm it was while the lake shimmered like glass behind them (with a slight ripple since there was beach goers- I know INSANE!). There was this perfect mix of quiet reflection and silly giggles- exactly the kind of energy that makes an elopement feel effortless.

Hussey Field:
Next up, Hussey Field! Picture an open filed with a stream winding through it, golden grass waving in the breeze, and these two just wandering, exploring and taking a pause to enjoy a perfect picnic with a splash of champagne.

At one point we decided to explore a bit of the river and show off some of our non existent rock skipping skills. One thing about elopements is you have the flexibility to fully enjoy your moments. You can explore without the stress of missing the next ‘event’.

One thing that threw us off a bit was walking through these rocks. While its easy enough barefoot, heels… not so much. However, that just made for the perfect intimate moment between Sara & Harold!

Cathedral Ledge:
We wrapped the day at Cathedral Ledge, climbing up for those private vows and a sunset that literally felt straight out of a movie. There was this hush over everything- just the two of them, the mountains, and the sun painting the sky.
A few epic views to start the hike to watch the sunset – resulted in the most breathtaking view of the cliffs and im so glad Sara & Harold trusted the vision. Even though it was off the beaten path they knew it would be worth it!

Sometimes the best views are ones you cant really see when you walk the path of everyone else.
Private vows were something Sara & Harold really wanted to focus on. They wanted that intimate moment to share their love and most of all they truly wanted to be able to embrace each other and soak it all in.

After Sara & Harold shared their intimate moment on the cliffside we were just in time to experience the most golden sunset at the top of Cathedral Ledge and when I say S T U N N I N G ….. Just perfect. Ill let the photos speak for themselves.

The kind of views that makes you loose your breath and im not just saying that because we hiked up a bit to capture these views. Just makes you think ‘yep this love story is happening right here right now!’.
If you’re dreaming of your own adventure elopement, lets make it unforgettable – reach out to start planning your story!
With love, Jess
